JOYO have been an amazing brand that we've stocked for a while, and we very rarely have any issues due to their great quality control standards. The BSK-60 is one of our best-selling acoustic amps, and has an amazing sound that just can't be beat from the price.

Recently we've noticed a few of our customers have had a great time using their unit but find themselves with a speaker that suddenly doesn't output any sound. In almost every single case this has been a very quick fix, and something we'd like to outline here to help the troubleshooting process.

On your JOYO BSK-60 unit there is a small section titled "LINK" which allows you to connect a 3.5mm TRS cable to the unit, and also has a button present.

According to the manual, this section can be used to connect the amplifier to a device such as a smartphone, to be used with audio processing apps such as JamUp or Amplitube. It's important to note that the internal signal path of the amplifier is rerouted to the 3.5mm output when the switch is pressed down. This means that if your link button is pressed down, the BSK-60 will not output any sound from the main speaker.

Please check that this button is not accidentally pressed down, as we find that sometimes it can be bumped and left unnoticed causing the amplifier to be essentially muted.

If you are still having issues with your unit, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our team.
